BLOOMINGTON – Bloomington North recorded wins over Bedford North Lawrence, Martinsville and Edgewood during boys high school golf action at Cascades on Tuesday.
The Cougars cared a team total of 325, while the Stars settled for second at 331.
BNL’s Tyler Bellush shared medalist honors with North’s Zayan Farzad with a 78.
”I thought we hit the ball pretty well,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “For the most part, we kept it out of the spots that you don’t want to hit it. We just weren’t able to get it in the hole efficiently.
”We will get another crack at Cascades on Saturday, and I think we are going to play really well. It’s always a benefit to play our sectional course as many times as we do.”
BNL will host Brownstown and Edgewood at Otis Park on Thursday.
