BLOOMINGTON—The Community Justice and Mediation Center (CJAM) invites the public to its annual “Celebration of Community” breakfast at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Bloomington on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
The morning will feature a light breakfast and an inspiring keynote address from Reverend Forrest Gilmore, the Executive Director of Beacon, INC. Following Reverend Gilmore’s remarks, CJAM will honor this year’s award recipients – local community members making a significant impact through their work in restorative justice, peacemaking, and conflict resolution.
This year’s celebration theme is “Planting Seeds of Peace, Justice, and Understanding,” highlighting the vital role of community members in fostering a more harmonious and equitable society. This event offers an opportunity to connect with others dedicated to positive change within the Bloomington area.
