

ELNORA – Bedford North Lawrence swept meets from North Daviess and Barr-Reeve during high school track action on Thursday.
The Stars won the girls meet with 93 points, followed by the Vikings (46) and Cougars (21). In the boys meet, BNL scored 96 points to top North Daviess (35) and Barr-Reeve.
In the girls meet, BNL won 11 events. Paige Voigtschild was a double winner in the 1600 (6:16) and 3200 (12:17), while Avery Brown took two blue ribbons in the pole vault (7-0) and long jump (14-6).
Other individual winners included Tracy Hanners (13.37 in the 100), Gracie Simmerman (1:07.60 in the 400), Elise Williams (2:43.47 in the 800) and Madalyn Mason (29-8.5 in the shot put). The Stars also swept the relays, winning the 400 (Rachael Barr, Brooke Barr, Ava Prince and Kinleigh Root) in 57.26, the 1600 (Williams, Root, Lily Scott and Simmerman) in 4:45.78, and the 3200 (Simmerman, Madison Chandler, Williams and Voigtschild) in 11:02.72.
In the boys meet, the Stars won 14 events. Luke Morris was a triple winner in the 110 high hurdles (16.10), 300 hurdles (41.89), and high jump (5-6). Tucker Inman won twice in the 1600 (5:02) and 3200 (10:28.75).
Other individual winners included Trace Bunge (11.20 in the 100), Ben Conner (53.96 in the 400), Tate McFarland (2:22.19 in the 800), Easton Moore (18-9 in the long jump), Tripp Stahl (49-2 in the shot put), and Orion Hill (146-9 in the discus).
The Stars also swept the relays, taking the 400 (Moore, Bunge, Driven Axsom and Porter Brown) in 46.43, the 1600 (Axsom, Morris, Conner and Inman) in 3:46.37, and the 3200 (Eli McFarland, Tate McFarland, Sam Stauser and Inman) in 9:23.60.
BNL will visit Mitchell on Monday.
