LAWRENCE CO. – The Lawrence County Highway Department is aiming to pave Boyd Lane between State Road 58 and Stars Boulevard tomorrow, Wednesday, April 30th. If weather permits, the paving will go as planned, which means Boyd Lane will be closed tomorrow.
Highway Superintendent Brian Sowder announced the tentative schedule, stating that work is planned to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. He emphasized that the paving is contingent on the weather holding off.
Sowder also noted that the department is working to update warning boards in the area to provide the latest information. Signs indicating a planned date for paving will be placed at each end of Boyd Lane and will be updated if the schedule changes due to weather conditions.
