Conference to address opportunities, challenges in rural Indiana hosted by IU is May 12 and 13

BLOOMINGTON— Community leaders, residents, and professionals from across the state are invited to attend a two-day conference focused on the needs and opportunities facing rural Indiana.

Hosted by Indiana University, the event will bring together IU researchers, state leaders, and professionals from a wide range of fields to exchange ideas and strategies aimed at strengthening Indiana’s rural communities.

The conference will be at the French Lick Springs Resort, 8670 West State Road 56, French Lick. Doors open at 8 a.m. each day, with sessions running from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

The conference is open to anyone with a vested interest in the future of rural Indiana and is designed to foster collaboration and dialogue among participants. Attendees can register for one or both days of the event, which includes access to all sessions and materials.

The full two-day registration fee is $80 per person, while single-day attendance is $50. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. For more information, contact iucre@iu.edu.
