LAWRENCE CO. – The Lawrence County Highway Department has announced upcoming paving work on South Leatherwood Road.
Weather permitting, paving is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 24th, and Friday, April 25th, along the stretch of South Leatherwood Road from Gunsmith Road to Leatherwood Road.
In the event of inclement weather on Friday, any paving work not completed on Thursday will be rescheduled for Monday, April 28th.
Motorists traveling in this area should be aware that traffic signals are currently in place to manage traffic flow during the paving operations. Delays are possible, and drivers are advised to exercise caution and plan their routes accordingly.
