Celebrate Arbor Day and plant trees at Olcott Park this Friday

BLOOMINGTON – Join the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department this Friday, April 25th, as they celebrate Arbor Day and continue the city’s cherished tree-planting tradition. The event will take place at Olcott Park from 9:00 a.m. to noon.

Volunteers are invited to help the Parks and Recreation Urban Forestry staff plant trees in Olcott Park, contributing to Bloomington’s green canopy.

As a special thank you for their participation, attendees can take home a free tree seedling while supplies last, allowing them to continue the celebration in their yards.

Those interested in participating should meet at the Young Pavilion in Olcott Park.
