Road paving projects scheduled across Lawrence County

LAWRENCE CO. – The Lawrence County Highway Department has released its preliminary schedule for upcoming road paving projects.

Please note that all dates are weather permitting and subject to change. Motorists are advised to exercise caution in these areas during the scheduled work.

Here is a breakdown of the planned paving:

District 1:

  • April 30, 2025: Tripleton Pike – from HWY 58 to Maul Ridge Rd (1.8 miles)
  • May 9, 2025: Gas Line – from Washboard to Siebolt (1 mile)
  • May 13, 2025: Donica Church – from Little Salt Creek to Judah Logan (1.7 miles)
  • May 8, 2025: Logan-Donica – from Red Bridge to Donica (0.9 miles)

District 2:

  • May 1, 2025: Davey Cox – from State Road 60 to Sonny Dorsett (1 mile)
  • April 23, 2025: Gresham – from Earl Road to Lawrenceport (1.1 miles)
  • April 22, 2025: Tunnelton-Bono – from the County Line to Bono (1.3 miles)
  • Pending 2025: Stonington – from Earl Road to Bono (2 miles)

District 3:

  • April 29, 2025: Boyd Lane – from State Road 58 to Star Boulevard (0.9 miles)
  • Pending 2025: Glenview Addition (0.3 miles)
  • Pending 2025: Leatherwood Creek Addition (0.4 miles)
  • April 25 & April 28, 2025: South Leatherwood Road – from Gunsmith Road to Leatherwood Road (1.8 miles)
  • May 7, 2025: Tunnelton Road – from Guthrie Creek Bridge to the top of the hill (1 mile)
