Arthur “Art” Phillips, 64, of Williams, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at IU Health in Bedford.
He was born in McCreary County, Kentucky, on May 11, 1960, to Harley and Martha (Jones) Phillips. Art married Sandra Everage on March 23, 1984, and she survives. Art worked at Carpenter’s Body Works in Mitchell and Visteon in Bedford.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Phillips of Williams, one daughter, Jessica (Phillips) Ikerd of Evansville, two sons, Eric Everage of Bedford, and David (Autumn) Phillips of Mitchell, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, three brothers, Roger Phillips, Larry Phillips, and David Phillips, three sisters, Mary Phillips, Joyce Deckard, and Geneva Jones.
Art was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Roy Phillips and Harley Phillips, Jr, in infancy, two sisters, Brenda Worley and Betty Strunk, and one granddaughter, Jannessa Ikerd.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, with Tom Jones officiating burial, will follow in Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford. Visitation will be on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
