FERDINAND— In collaboration with the Local Emergency Planning Committee, Dubois County Emergency Management will conduct a full-scale emergency response exercise on Saturday, May 10, at MasterBrand Cabinets, 614 West 3rd Street, Ferdinand.
The drill begins at 8:30 a.m. and is designed to provide first responders with realistic training for a hazardous materials incident. Emergency personnel will respond as if facing a chemical emergency, allowing agencies to enhance coordination and preparedness.
The exercise is expected to conclude around noon.
During this time, the public is advised that there will be a significant presence of emergency vehicles and personnel in the area.
