Spring Mill Trail Challenge underway with Mitchell student-designed merchandise

MITCHELLSpring Mill State Park has launched its annual Trail Challenge, inviting visitors to explore its nine trails, which total approximately 10 miles. This year’s challenge features unique merchandise designed by Mitchell High School students.

Rilynn Fountain, a sophomore, won an art contest with her logo design, which is now featured on vinyl stickers given to those who complete the challenge. Another design, created by Zeke Dillman, was a close second, and his design is also available on half of the printed stickers. Mitchell High School printed both sticker designs.

“Getting to create the design was enjoyable,” said Fountain. “I love Spring Mill, and designing something they will use was really cool.”

T-shirts featuring Fountain’s design are available online at Good Sports in Bedford. The shirts come in short and long sleeves, with some of the proceeds benefiting the park. The shirts can be purchased at https://shop-good-sports.myshopify.com/ or via a link on the Friends of Spring Mill’s website or Facebook page.
