Lawrence County 4-H Rabbit Club’s Annual Show hosted more than 2,100 entries

LAWRENCE CO. – The Lawrence County 4-H Rabbit Club held its 13th Annual Open Show on Friday afternoon and Saturday at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.  

The event drew over 2,1000 entries and participants from seven states, including Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.  

This year’s show featured a diverse showcase of rabbits, with eight All Breed shows (four open and four youth) and three specialty shows. The specialty shows highlighted Rare Breeds, Youth Mini Rex, and Open Mini Lop rabbits.

The club’s annual fundraiser included a silent auction and concessions, featuring rabbit and noodles and rabbit BBQ.
