Vincennes University to award Honorary Doctorate to Former Governor Eric Holcomb

VINCENNES– Vincennes University has announced that former Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb will receive an honorary doctorate in public service during its spring commencement ceremony on May 3rd.

The university’s Board of Trustees approved the honorary degree, recognizing Holcomb’s significant contributions to the state and his dedication to making Indiana a desirable place to live and work.

During his tenure, Governor Holcomb spearheaded the “Next Level” programs, which focused on crucial areas such as infrastructure development, job creation, and educational advancement. These initiatives are highlighted as key achievements that positively impacted the lives of Hoosiers.
