
INDIANA – IBJ Media hosted its Excellence in Health Care Awards on February 25, 2025, celebrating the achievements of outstanding individuals and organizations that have significantly impacted Central Indiana health care. Formerly known as Health Care Heroes for over two decades, the event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and changemakers for a morning of recognition and inspiration.

This year’s honorees included recipients in ten categories: community achievement in health care, innovations in health care, mental health advocacy, physician, non-physician, volunteer, pharmacist, health care executive, health care educator, and career achievement. Honorees included:

The event featured remarks from Dr. Lindsay Weaver MD, FACEP, Indiana State Health Commissioner from the Indiana Department of Health, as well as networking opportunities and a formal awards presentation.
