ORLEANS – Planning is underway for the 55th Annual Orleans Dogwood Festival, slated for April 19-26. The Orleans Chamber of Commerce is inviting area businesses to sponsor the event, which has been recognized as a “Midwest Top 5 Flowering Festival” by Midwest Magazine and featured in Midwest Traveler, Travel Indiana, and So. Indiana Living magazines.
The week-long festival offers a variety of free, family-friendly activities, including live music, a Colts in Motion exhibit, a World of Quilts display, a Dogwood Pedal Bike Ride, an art walk, kids’ activities, and a parade with celebrity guests. Other attractions include a carnival, food and craft vendors, pageants, a style show, a photography contest, and a silent auction.
The Chamber emphasizes the festival’s free offerings and its exposure to sponsors. Sponsorship opportunities range from Dogwood Patron ($150) and Bronze Level ($250) to Silver Level Event Sponsors ($500) and Golden Level Corporate Sponsors ($1,000). Benefits vary by level and include logo placement on banners, the festival website, the official souvenir program, promotional materials, and carnival tickets.
