GIBSON CO. – A Vincennes woman lost her life in a Friday crash in Gibson County.
According to police, 53-year-old Amy Wilson of Vincennes died in the crash that happened at the North Patoka exit of US 41.
Officers and first responders were alerted to the two-vehicle rollover accident around 5:00 p.m.
Investigators determined a passenger car was heading north on Main Street and drove into the path of an SUV.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says the SUV lost control and flipped onto its roof after striking a guardrail.
Wilson and other passengers were taken to the hospital, but there was no update on the other passengers.
The accident is still under investigation.
