BLOOMINGTON– The Bloomington District welcomed Probationary Trooper Logan A. McDowell Thursday morning at a post meeting.
Probationary Trooper McDowell, age 24, is a recent graduate of the 86th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy and received his Trooper badge in a ceremony conducted at the Indiana Statehouse on January 9th. Probationary Trooper McDowell is from Springville and a 2019 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School. Before his employment with the Indiana State Police, he was a Maintenance Technician for Catalent Pharmaceutical.
He served his community as a Reserve Deputy for the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office. Upon completion of his field training phase, Probationary Trooper McDowell will be assigned to patrol Greene, Lawrence, and Monroe counties.
