George L. Sipes, 88, of Cale, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
He was born August 21, 1936, in Blankenship, the son of Edgar and Zetta (Stroud) Sipes.
George retired from NSWC Crane after over 25 years.
George loved mowing, cutting wood, visiting with family, cooking, and walking with his dog, Harley. His friends and family will greatly miss him.
Surviving are his brothers, Joe (Linda) Sipes, of Cale, Elton (Prescilla) Sipes, of Cale, and Ricky Sipes, of Bowling Green, KY, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Roma Sue Bateman and Mary Hungate, brothers Merle Sipes and Dennis Sipes, and three brothers in infancy.
The graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care, Shoals.
