Anthony Milton Tillette Sr., 76, of Mitchell, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 25, 1947, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Willard Tillette and Maxine (Tincher) Enochs. He married Regina Turner on June 29, 1968 and she survives.
Anthony owned Tillette’s Construction for many years. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, but he especially loved spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Tillette of Mitchell; children, Tonetta (Kevin) Nicholson of Mitchell, Anthony Tillette Jr. of Mitchell, Jeff (Melanie) Tillette of Mitchell, and Troy Tillette of Mitchell; siblings, Elnora (Chris) Hassler of Bedford, and Barbara (Daniel) Duncan of Mitchell; and 23 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His parents, grandson Dakota Elliott, and siblings Sue Dalton, Rita Frost, and James Gillette preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen.
