Man arrested after violating protective order, not once but twice

MITCHELL— A Mitchell man was arrested on Wednesday, April 17th, after Mitchell Police Officer Britten spotted him while patrolling west on West Warren Street, leaving a home in the 900 block.

Officer Britten knew 28-year-old Daigan Rayhill was wanted on an outstanding warrant for invasion of privacy. That protective order prevented Rayhill from being at the home he was leaving. Officer Britten watched Rayhill get in the vehicle with the woman with whom he was to have no contract.

Officer Britten conducted a traffic stop at the Marathon gas station. He allowed the woman to remove the children from the vehicle and take them into the gas station. He then detained Rayhill on a new charge of invasion of privacy and the outstanding warrant for invasion of privacy.
