BNL’s Drew McKee carded an even-par 35 as the Stars topped New Albany on the back nine at Otis Park on Thursday.

BEDFORD – Drew McKee carded an even-par 35 on the back nine while powering Bedford North Lawrence to a dual-match win over New Albany on Thursday at Otis Park.

The Stars fired a season-best team score of 152, while the Bulldogs finished with 160.

BNL also got strong rounds from Dillon Lewis and Tyler Bellush (3-over 38s).

“I’m really pleased with the performance,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “Drew and Dillon both played great and made some really big putts. Tyler’s ball striking was really good. We just need to get him comfortable with the putter and he is going to start shooting some really good scores.

“This is a performance that we have to use to build confidence and keep stacking good rounds on top of each other.”

Parker Foddrill capped the BNL scoring with 41. Blaine Hamilton paced New Albany with 37.

The Stars will compete in the Corydon Invitational on Saturday.
