Christina Marie Sowders, 57, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 10:55 p.m. at Greenwood Meadows.
She was born in Lawrence County on January 3, 1967, to Lovell Sowders, Sr., and Emma Jane (Brown) Sowders.
Her sisters, Trudy Holtsclaw of Greenwood, Carole Andis of Bedford, and Kaye Kelly of Bedford, are survivors.
Christina was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Danny Sowders, Lovell Sowders, Jr., and Phillip Evans, all of Bedford, and two sisters, Betty Deckard and Shirley Ray, both of Bedford.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, with her nephew, Darren Holtsclaw, officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Friday from Noon until service time at the funeral home.
