Two OWI arrests were made during Friday night saturation patrol

PENDLETON—On Friday, March 29, 2024, the Indiana State Police Pendleton District conducted a saturation patrol in Madison County, primarily focusing on impaired driving. The targeted patrols ran from 10:30 p.m. Friday night until 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The saturation patrols resulted in the following:

  • 33 Traffic Stops
  • 11 Traffic citations
  • 30 Traffic warnings
  • 3 Criminal cases drawn
  • 2 Arrests for operating while intoxicated 
  • 1 Arrest on an active warrant

The Indiana State Police is committed to making Indiana roadways safer by continuing to conduct saturation patrols to locate and apprehend impaired drivers. ISP reminds the public to designate a sober driver or utilize ride-sharing companies.
