BLOOMINGTON— Officials with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office are conducting an investigation after a person was found dead in a vehicle in Bloomington.
According to a news release from the office, deputies responded to a report of a death in a parking lot near the intersection of S Leonard Springs Rd. and W Barge Lane at around 4:41 p.m. on Thursday.
When deputies arrived, they found a man in the back seat of his vehicle on the east edge of the property. Officials said that family members found the man in the vehicle.
The release said toxicology results are pending from the Monroe County Coroner’s Office. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident.
