Obituary: Stephen Daniel ‘Sid’ Inge

September 17, 1952 – March 9, 2024

Stephen Daniel ‘Sid’ Inge, 71, of Bedford, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital after battling cancer.  

He was called home to the Lord to reunite with Momma and his Dad.

Born September 17, 1952, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, he was the son of Ray Max Bark and Eleanor (Jerome) Inge.

Stephen retired from Glassworks as a fiberglass specialist for boats. He was a member of the Cherokee Nation, played Native American drums, and enjoyed Pow-Wows. He also liked hiking, yard work, and open-water fishing in the Chesapeake Bay. Stephen was part of the Baptist denomination. All loved him.

He leaves behind many who love him: sisters Donna Inge Furois-Davis of Bedford and Penny (Joseph) Jenkins of Iowa; brothers William “Billy” S. (Beth) Inge of Virginia and David (Jeri) Bark of Georgia; uncle Conrad (Lucinda) Inge; a multitude of nieces and nephews; best friend Brandon (Luann) Nicks; and Patti and Andy Miller.

His parents and many aunts and uncles preceded him in death.

Cremation has been chosen.
