David Knight, 74, of Bedford passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 9:28 p.m. at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
He was born in Delaware County, Indiana, on October 3, 1949, to Harry and Hazel (Purkhiser) Knight.
David enjoyed watching Westerns and going on country drives. He enjoyed Williams Dam. He loved to order a pizza on Friday nights, loved cheeseburgers, and helped the staff make deviled eggs. He was loved. He liked to travel to Tennessee and Terre Haute, he always wanted to travel to Alaska.
He is survived by one sister, Mary Alice Hatfield of French Lick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harry Knight, Jr., and Kenneth Knight, and three sisters, Gloria Keeton, Lenore Knight, and Janetta Knight.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick, friends may call on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
