Saturation patrol targeting dangerous and impaired drivers resulted in three arrests

PENDLETON – On Friday, February 23, 2024, the Indiana State Police Pendleton District conducted a saturation patrol in Madison County, primarily focusing on impaired driving.  The targeted patrols ran from 9 p.m. Friday night until 3 a.m. Saturday.

The saturation patrols resulted in the following:

  • 64 traffic stops
  • Three criminal cases drawn
  • Three arrests for operating while intoxicated 
  • One Arrest for operating while never receiving a license
  • One Arrest for possession of a controlled substance
  • One arrest for possession of marijuana

The Indiana State Police are committed to making Indiana roadways safer by continuing to conduct saturation patrols to locate and apprehend impaired drivers. Troopers want to remind the public to designate a sober driver or utilize ride-sharing companies.
