Obituary: Carol Ann Mifflin

September 22, 1943 – February 25, 2024

Carol Ann Mifflin, 80, of Bedford, passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.

Born September 22, 1943, in New Albany, IN, she was the daughter of Gerald and Hildreth (Roby) Ludlow. She was a kindergarten teacher for thirty-five years at Dollens Elementary School. She was a member of the First Christian Church for over 50 years and was very involved with the church and numerous Bible study groups.

Survivors include two daughters, Janée Mifflin and husband, Kyle, of Henryville, and Kimra Mifflin Buehner and husband Thomas, of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Patrick Joseph Williams and Sarah Kathleen Williams, both of Henryville; a sister, Sheila Kay Miskuf of Bedford; nephews, Michael Miskuf and wife, Courtney, Jason Miskuf and wife, Amy, David Miskuf and wife, Sadie, all of Bedford; several great-nieces and nephews; a cousin, Wanda Jean Lasley and her children, Michelle Zollman her husband John, and Michael Lasley and wife, Nancy.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, March 1st, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Tim Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29th, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
