County travel advisories issued

INDIANA – Lawrence, Greene, and Orange Counties are under a yellow travel advisory.

Yellow is the lowest level of the local travel advisory, which means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.

Brown, Bartholomew, Daviess, Martin, Monroe, and Owen Counties are under an orange travel advisory.

An orange advisory means conditions are threatening the safety of the public. During a “watch” local travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergencies, is recommended, and businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations should implement emergency action plans.
