“I’m honored to represent Indiana and share the good work being done in our state.  Connecting and building upon established relationships with my colleagues nationwide is also encouraging.  I’m excited to implement the knowledge I’ve gained throughout this NASS conference, which will only help advance the Hoosier state, making us an even stronger model nationwide,” said Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales.

While at NASS, Secretary Morales took time on Capitol Hill to visit with the Chair of the Elections Subcommittee, Congresswoman Laurel Lee, to discuss election integrity. He also visited with Indiana’s Congressional District members to share updates and thank them for their service to the Hoosier state.

During the NASS Winter Conference, Secretary Morales was commended by Secretaries from across the country for his ongoing effort of hand-delivering election improvement grants to local counties statewide.

As NASS Securities Committee Co-Chair, Secretary Morales led a roundtable discussion with his colleague, Secretary Elaine Marshall from North Carolina. Secretary Morales was appointed as NASS Securities Committee Co-Chair in July. He will serve as the NASS Securities Committee Co-Chair until the conclusion of the NASS 2024 Summer Conference.

NASS is the nation’s oldest nonpartisan professional organization for public officials in the U.S.
