DUBOIS COUNTY– The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the continued closure of State Road 145 to address a landslide that damaged the roadway.
On Wednesday, January 31, a slide occurred underneath State Road 145 south of Birdseye. This damaged the roadway and resulted in an emergency closure. A project to correct the slide and repair the roadway is now underway. Work is expected to last through the beginning of May, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this closure is I-64 to State Road 37 to State Road 64. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
