Grants for art, performances, workshops, and more

INDIANA – Arts Project Support, a core grant program of the Indiana Arts Commission, provides funding to 501c3 nonprofits, units of government, and schools to support arts projects that occur during the grant period: July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.

Some examples of eligible projects include a one-time art event, a single performance, an exhibition, an educational workshop, or a series of related arts activities such as art classes or training sessions that are open to the public, whether free or for a fee.

The program aims to provide broad access to arts opportunities throughout the state.

Applicants may request up to $4,000 to support their project, and there is no match requirement.

National Endowment for the Arts – Grants for Arts Projects

The National Endowment for the Arts Grants for Arts Projects program provides expansive funding opportunities to strengthen the nation’s arts and cultural ecosystem. Grants are available for arts projects in a wide variety of artistic disciplines. Each discipline has identified the projects of greatest interest within this program and the characteristics of competitive applications.

Applicants may request cost share/matching grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.

Designated local arts agencies eligible to subgrant may request $30,000 to $150,000 for subgranting programs in the Local Arts Agencies discipline.
