OOLITIC – The Lawrence County Republican Central Committee has appointed Carl Baker to fulfill the remainder of Tangie Jenkins resigned Oolitic Town Council term.
This appointment is effective today, Tuesday, January 23, according to Lawrence County Republican Party Chairman Heath Hawkins,
Earlier, the Lawrence County Republican Central Committee had reported Arthur (Art) Rees would fulfill the position and then stated, “This press release was mistakenly sent out prematurely. Do you mind removing the story from the site and Facebook? We will be sending a corrected release hopefully later this afternoon.”
