Wayne County Judicial appointment announced by Governor Holcomb

INDIANAPOLIS – Governor Eric J. Holcomb announced today that Mark Cox has been appointed to the Wayne County Superior Court No. 3.

Cox will succeed Judge Darrin Dolehanty, who is set to retire on Jan. 31.

Cox is a self-employed attorney in Richmond, and before that role, he was in private practice in Hagerstown. He is the part-time public defender in Henry County and assists in public defender cases in Wayne, Randolph, and Fayette Counties. Cox volunteers in his community through his church and as a coach for youth sports.

Cox received an undergraduate degree from Ball State University and a law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Murrie and Cox will be sworn in as Judges on a date to be determined.
