Lawrence County CASA Program volunteer training begins soon

BEDFORD – The Lawrence County CASA program is looking for volunteers. If you or anyone you know is interested in positively impacting youth in our community, consider volunteering with the Lawrence County CASA program.

Volunteers must be 21 or older, possess a driver’s license, and complete a 30-hour training course. The deadline to apply to be a volunteer is January 7. Please apply online at www.lccasa.com or visit their Facebook page.

Training takes place in January, and the schedule is as follows:

  • January 16, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • January 18, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • January 23, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • January 25, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • January 30, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • February 1, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • February 6, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • February 8, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • February 13, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • February 15, 2024: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Attendance is required at all sessions to be a volunteer.
