GALENA – Bedford North Lawrence’s Kyra Hutchison and Arianna Andis advanced to the Indiana High School Girls Wrestling semistate during the regional at Floyd Central on Saturday.
Hutchison finished third in the 115-pound class. She fell to Southridge’s Rebecca Snider (pin in 1:28) in the semifinal, then conquered Northview’s Bailey Fielding (pin in 4:11) in the third-place match.
Andis was third in the 155 division. She dropped matches against Bloomington South’s Kaylee Minton (16-2 final) and Terre Haute North’s Kayleigh Medley (pin in 1:16).
The Stars will compete in the semistate at Mooresville on Friday.
