BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington City Clerk Nicole Bolden formally invites the public to witness the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected officials from the City of Bloomington and the Town of Ellettsville.
“The public is welcome to witness this time-honored tradition of newly elected officials being sworn into office. It is a wonderful exercise that marks the history of our communities in Monroe County”, said Clerk Bolden.
The ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Monday, January 1, 2024, at Noon in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, at 401 North Morton Street.
The doors will open at 11:30 a.m.
