BEDFORD – Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelter event, adoption fees are reduced to $50 through December 16 at the White River Humane Society with an approved adoption application. If you act quickly, thanks to another anonymous donor, the fees will be reduced to only $25 for the following five dogs adopted as of this writing. Seven of the “12 Strays of Christmas” have found loving homes already.
There are also three dogs ready to adopt free of charge with an approved application, thanks to a sponsor.
- Sway- 4.5-year-old Plott hound
- Curby- 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur
- Leo: 2-year-old Plott hound (who will even dance for you)
