FRENCH LICK – Indiana State Police arrested a Paoli woman on drug charges early Friday morning after pulling her over for speeding on US 150 near French Lick.
Police detained 37-year-old Erica Elkins after she displayed signs of being impaired and failed field sobriety tests.
Police also found Elkins in possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, and an open container of alcohol.
Elkins was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated with a prior conviction, possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, drug paraphernalia, and driving while her driver’s license was suspended with a prior conviction.
