Denise Ann Marshall-Denny, 61, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the IU Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born June 27, 1962, she was the daughter of Palmer and Betty (Manship) Strange. She married Jeff Denny in 1994 and he survives. Denise was a member of Fairview Community Church and loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was a cook for the Sigma Chi Fraternity at Indiana University and the Bliss Place in Bedford.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Denise is her husband, Jeff; two daughters, Karen (Shawn) Deaton and Heather (Jeremy) Robertson; five grandchildren, Shawn Jr., Makaylee, Austin, Mia, and Maycie; one
brother, Danny (Dockey) Strange; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her
parents, Palmer and Betty Strange; and one brother, Alan Strange.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of
Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Bro. Lindy Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow
in Leatherwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. also at Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
