Cody Ryan Baker, 39, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, with his wife by his side.
Born October 29, 1984, in Bedford, he was the son of Joseph Baker and Lisa Duncan. Cody was a lover of life and was always up for new experiences. Before getting sick he enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, kayaking, bird watching, and taking drives through the country. He had an enormous heart and was the type of person who would do anything for anyone. He will always be remembered for his big heart, his unique personality, and his love for making people laugh.
Cody always made his presence known and could truly brighten any room.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Cody are his wife, Nicki; daughter, Jasmine Baker; mother, Lisa Duncan; sisters, LaCosta (Ryan) Eads, Kortney (Travis) Schultz, and Heather Baker; grandparents, Doris Duncan and Wanda Baker; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Baker; and his grandparents, Charles Duncan and
Kenneth Baker.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with funeral services immediately following at 1:00 p.m.. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
