MITCHELL – Mitchell Community Schools has partnered with School Smiles dental program to provide onsite dental care to elementary students.
Schools Smiles will be at Hatfield Elementary on Friday, December 15 for routine dental check-ups including but not limited to dental exams, cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatments, sealants, restoration, extractions, crowns, and dental hygiene instruction.
The program saves you time and provides a safe and comfortable place for your child to receive gentle dental care from a licensed local professional.
The program will be an optional service.
Professionals will communicate directly with parents concerning dental care. Parents will be involved while having a convenient dental exam at the school.
All insurance is accepted including Medicaid and private insurance. A low-self-pay option of $49 is available for those without insurance, which covers the exam, x-rays, cleaning, and fluoride treatment.
Free toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, and other dental supplies will be provided to each student enrolled in the program.
