INDIANAPOLIS – This week, Hoosier lawmakers gathered at the Statehouse in Indianapolis for Organization Day, the official start of the 2024 legislative session.
The session kickoff is an important opportunity for policymakers to meet, discuss issues facing local communities and the state, and make plans for the session ahead.
Lawmakers will return to session on January 8, 2024, and must complete their work before the March 14 deadline.
