LAWRENCE CO. – The Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission approved the payment of Lochmueller Group Invoice No. 313284 for $108,476.28 for the Bedford Spider Creek Pump Station and Storage project.
Utility Director Misty Adams presented the request for approval. The project has been in the works since the fall of 2022.
The city of Bedford has been working to address sanitary sewer overflows since Bedford Mayor Joe Klump’s administration from 2003 to 2008.
The Spider Creek project addresses flooding around 5th Street, overflow at the Spider Creek Pump Station, and sanitary sewer upgrades.
