Track Energy Usage: Duke Energy offers several ways to track daily energy use and adjust usage habits to help customers save on their next bill.

Monitor Usage on our Website or Mobile App: With a Duke Energy online account, customers can track their energy use on any device through the website or mobile app. They’ll see when their energy use is spiking so they can make small adjustments at home that can help lower their energy bills.

Usage Alerts: Customers can sign up for emails and/or texts halfway through a billing cycle, well before a bill arrives, with their current usage amount and a projection of what their final monthly bill could be.

Flexible Payment Options: Duke Energy offers several programs and services that can help assist customers with their energy bills.

Installment PlansCustomers can use Duke Energy’s interest-free Installment Plans to help make monthly payments comfortable for them.

Due Date Extensions: Duke Energy understands customers may need a little extra time occasionally to pay a bill. They can extend their payment due date by one to 10 business days.

Budget BillingBudget Billing lets customers pay one predictable amount every month to better manage their budget. The amount is periodically reviewed and adjusted.

Pick Your Due DateCustomers can choose the date they want their Duke Energy bill to be due each month to align with a date that works for them.

Financial Assistance: If someone you know is experiencing a time of uncertainty, Duke Energy offers programs and resources to help get them back on their feet.

Share the Light Fund®Duke Energy works in partnership with the Indiana Community Action Association to distribute funds to qualifying customers to help pay energy bills, deposits, and reconnection/connection charges.

Energy Assistance Program: This state-administered program provides assistance to customers who might not otherwise be able to afford to heat their homes.
