Daily closures scheduled along S.R. 258 and S.R. 235 in Jackson County

JACKSON CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to conduct three daily closures to begin culvert replacement work in Jackson County, starting next week. Each closure is expected to last up to one day, weather permitting.

The daily closures are currently scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, November 13 (weather permitting): S.R. 258 at mile marker 10 between Seymour and Cortland from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 14 (weather permitting): S.R. 258 at mile marker 3 between Freetown and Cortland from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 15 (weather permitting): S.R. 235 at mile marker 6 between Medora and U.S. 50 from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
