MARTINSVILLE — One person is dead after a crash in Martinsville Tuesday morning.
According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department, the single-vehicle crash happened Tuesday around 6:20 a.m. in a southbound lane of I-69, north of Martinsville.
Morgan County EMS, Washington Township Fire Department, and the Morgan County Coroner’s Office also responded.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, their identity has not yet been confirmed.
Once the coroner’s office is able to positively identify the victim and notify the family, the victim’s identity will be released.
The accident remains under investigation.
