BEDFORD – Lawrence County Treasurer Jody Edwards reminds residents to pay their fall property taxes.
Fall property taxes are due on Monday, November 13.
Taxpayers are reminded there is a 5% penalty added if taxes are not paid by the deadline. If taxes are more than 30 days past due a 10% penalty is added.
“Fall taxes are normally due on November 10th but that is Veterans Day and the courthouse will be closed and the office will be also closed” added Edwards.
