SEYMOUR – State Road 11 in downtown Seymour will be closed next week so crews can work on railroad tracks.
CSX Railroad has announced that it will be closing State Road 11 and Broadway Street starting on Monday while crews improve the railroad crossing there.
The road will close between Second Street and U.S. 50 through Wednesday, although the work schedule is dependent on the weather.
A detour will take traffic from U.S. 50 to Interstate 65 and then back to State Road 11.
INDOT urges you to slow down, to drive without distractions, and to be cautious for worker safety in all work zones.
