Traffic stop lands Seymour woman behind bars, meth and pills seized

SEYMOUR – A Seymour woman is facing drug charges after a Seymour officer stopped her vehicle for a traffic infraction.

On October 10, the officer was on routine patrol when he observed a black Toyota Tundra commit a traffic infraction, and he pulled the vehicle over.

During the stop, the officer asked permission to search the vehicle.

During that search, police found more than eight grams of meth, more than 40 pills, and drug paraphernalia including scales and baggies used in dealing drugs.

Police arrested 31-year-old Deanna Pennycuff on charges of dealing meth, possession of a narcotic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
